Some are simple other are very sophisticated, but they all have one thing in common – they are created through production process, and production order is a key step on the way. Considering the possible complexities and dependencies, production order is sensitive yet flexible document that can be updated and adjusted throughout the process. But what about cancelled or closed production orders? SAP Business One leaves some room for updates in these cases as well:
You can update the “Remarks” and “Pick and Pack Remarks” fields on the form footer, “Reference Document” on the “Summary” tab, Attachments, and User-Defined Fields on header and lines.
To ensure everything is covered, an option that enables you to define whether to allow UDFs update when lines are not editable is added to “Document Settings” and a respective authorization is added to the “Authorizations” window:
